Terms of Service
These terms cover lessons booked through this site. Lessons booked through italki are governed by italki's own terms.
The service
The site lets you book one-to-one language lessons with Aleksandra Vulin, an independent language teacher based in Novi Sad, Serbia. Lessons happen online over video at the time you booked.
Booking and payment
- You pick a lesson type and a time slot.
- Payment is processed by PayPal at the time of booking. Prices are shown in EUR and include all applicable fees.
- A slot is held for 15 minutes while you complete payment. If payment isn't completed in that window, the slot is released and may be booked by someone else.
- After successful payment, you receive an email confirmation with the meeting link.
Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before it starts. In that case, you receive a full refund through PayPal — or the lesson can be moved to another available slot at no charge.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson are not refundable, but Aleksandra will send you a written recap and homework so the lesson fee isn't wasted.
- If Aleksandra cancels for any reason, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule, at your choice.
Lesson conduct
Please show up on time and behave respectfully during the lesson. Recording the lesson without prior consent is not allowed. Aleksandra reserves the right to end a lesson early if the behaviour is abusive — the lesson is considered delivered in that case.
Service availability
This is a small one-teacher operation. We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee availability of every slot at all times. If a technical issue on our side prevents a lesson from happening, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. If you have an upcoming lesson when terms change, the version of the terms in force at the time of booking applies to that booking.
